Recent evidence emerged on Wednesday, purportedly connecting the individual referred to as the ‘Maryland man,’ who was deported by the Trump administration, to a human trafficking operation. This development calls into question the narrative propagated by Democrats and mainstream media, which portrayed the father of two as an innocent undocumented immigrant wrongfully sent to a large prison in El Salvador.
A report released last week by the Tennessee Star disclosed that Kilmar Abrego Garcia, aged 26, was involved in a traffic stop in 2022 where state police suspected him of transporting seven individuals in an SUV from Texas to Maryland and other destinations nationwide.
Notably, it has been reported that FBI agents directed Tennessee officers to let Garcia and the others go at the scene. Furthermore, it seems that the vehicle involved in the stop had prior connections to a human smuggling operation.
Abrego Garcia was operating a black 2001 Chevrolet Suburban, which has been documented by a Baltimore investigative team from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This vehicle is associated with a suspect implicated in a human trafficking network that agents are currently pursuing, as per the documents examined by Just The News.
The record states, ‘The vehicle is utilized by an HSI Baltimore target in a human smuggling/trafficking operation, making trips to the southern border to collect non-citizens.’ The memo suggests that investigators should be notified if the vehicle is spotted.
Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes, the official owner of the vehicle and the person for whom Abrego Garcia asserted he was employed at that time, had earlier admitted guilt to charges related to the smuggling of undocumented immigrants into the United States, as per court documents examined by the publication.
Hernandez Reyes, who was also residing in the country unlawfully, was found guilty in 2020 and received an 18-month prison sentence. As he approached the end of his sentence, the Department of Homeland Security issued a deportation order for him in March 2021.
Law enforcement officials expressed concerns regarding potential passenger smuggling, noting the lack of luggage in the vehicle. Abrego Garcia had been arrested in 2019 alongside several men who openly acknowledged their status as citizens and nationals of El Salvador by birth, admitting to their illegal presence in the United States, according to court documents released by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. Additionally, Prince George’s County has affirmed that Abrego Garcia is affiliated with the notorious MS-13 gang, a determination supported by two judicial rulings.
In the meantime, numerous Democratic members of Congress have journeyed to El Salvador to advocate for Garcia’s release and his repatriation to the United States, notwithstanding his widely recognized affiliation with a gang that President Donald Trump has classified as a terrorist organization. They continue to reference a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court, which did not mandate the administration to return Garcia but merely instructed it to attempt to ‘facilitate’ his return.
