The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has made a huge claim against President Donald Trump
Elon Musk has made a bombshell claim in the midst of his social media feud with President Donald Trump.
The couple’s once close relationship seems to be falling apart, as the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX recently expressed his dislike for Trump’s ‘big beautiful bill’ on social media, which he called the ‘Big Ugly Spending Bill’. This was followed by the President stating in the Oval Office today (5 June) that he felt ‘disappointed’ in his former ‘first buddy’.
A week ago, Musk also announced that he was leaving his position in the US government, and now he has shared a series of posts on X about the President, including one shocking claim.
Just hours after Trump expressed his disappointment to the press tonight, Musk dropped this huge news on Twitter: “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.
“Have a nice day, DJT!”

Just 10 minutes later, he posted on his social media: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
These documents that were unsealed were part of a lawsuit from 2015 against Ghislaine Maxwell, who was Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-partner, filed by one of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre, who has sadly passed away. They include documents, videos, and investigation materials about Epstein’s terrible abuse crimes before he died in 2019.
Just because Trump is mentioned in these documents doesn’t mean he did anything wrong, and there are no accusations against the President.
Although Trump hasn’t said anything about this part of Musk’s rant on X, he did go on his platform, Truth Social, to say: “Elon was ‘wearing thin,’ I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted (which he knew I was going to do for months!), and he just went CRAZY!”
Later, the President wrote: “The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to end Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!”

Musk has shared this post, saying: “Such an obvious lie. So sad.”
One user suggested: “Trump should be impeached and JD Vance should replace him,” and Musk simply reposted with: “Yes.”
Later, the SpaceX CEO added: “In light of the President’s statement about cancellation of my government contracts, @SpaceX will begin decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft immediately.”
He reshared old posts from Trump that he agreed with and asked this evening: “Where is the man who wrote these words? Was he replaced by a body double?”
Musk has also pinned a poll to his profile, asking: “Is it time to create a new political party in America that actually represents the 80 percent in the middle?”

After Trump began talking about Musk, Tesla’s shares dropped by nine percent, marking their latest significant change since the election.
The shares had increased twofold in the weeks following Trump’s election, but then they lost those gains and more during Musk’s time at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). They later surged after Musk promised in April to concentrate more on Tesla and his other businesses.
Musk then made a particularly harsh remark to a president who is sensitive about his popularity with voters: “Without me, Trump would have lost the election.”
“Such ingratitude,” Musk commented in a follow-up post.
