Trump details how he escaped death — and who saved him

The gunshots that rang out in July last year changed everything. The world held its breath — and Donald Trump miraculously survived an assassination attempt.

Now, he’s breaking his silence. In an emotional interview with daughter-in-law Lara Trump, the president reveals one moment he’ll never forget.

Grazed Trump’s ear

It was a shocking moment for America — and it almost changed history forever.

On July 13, 2024, a 20-year-old named Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed up to a rooftop close to a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, aiming at Donald Trump while he spoke to his supporters.

In just a few seconds, Crooks started shooting.

One bullet just barely missed Trump’s ear. Another bullet tragically killed a bystander named Corey Comperatore, who was a retired fire chief from Buffalo Township and had brought his family to the rally. Two other people were hurt badly before a Secret Service sniper took Crooks down.
